2 Minutes Chocolate Cake in a Mug

Cakes in a mug are perfect sweet treats. I like them because they come out in a jiffy and are perfect for the evening cravings. And seriously who doesn’t like a moist, fudgy chocolate cake?? So give yourself a fudgy sweet treat this Monday and make this 2 minutes chocolate cake right away!!!

2 Minutes micrwave Chocolate Cake in a Mug recipe

Chocolate cake in a Mug
Serves 2

Ingredients:
1 large egg
4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp melted chocolate

Method:
In a bowl first whisk the egg and then mix in all the other ingredients.
Whisk them until they are all mixed and incorporated perfectly with each other.
If you are using a big mug then you can pour this mixture into one but I used small ramekins and 2 ramekins were perfect for this recipe. Do not fill them up till the edges as we need to leave some room for the cake to puff up.
Put them into the microwave for 2-3 minutes on high, or until it puffs up and its firm when touched from the surface.
Take out the ramekins, and top it with a sprinkle of castor sugar or drizzle some of the remaining melted chocolate or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Serve immediately.
