Buttery Cinnamon Toasts
Butter, brown sugar and
cinnamon...are you sure you want toasts for breakfasts and not dessert for your
dinner?? Just kidding!!! These buttery toasts are sure to make your morning feel
much...much better. And since the sugar kind of gets caramelized while the
bread is being toasted, it becomes crisp when it cools down and the texture
becomes amazing. The most appropriate way to serve them will be with a scoop of
ice cream...but save that for Sundays...fresh fruits just work amazing as well
with this.
Buttery Cinnamon Toast
Serves 1
Ingredients:
2 slices of bread
2 tbsp softened butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 and ½ tsp cinnamon
powder
Method:
In a bowl take the softened
butter, sugar and cinnamon.
With a fork mix it real
nice.
Lather that butter mix
over the bread slices.
Heat a skillet or griddle
pan and toast the bread slices on both sides until they become golden and
crisp.
Serve with some powdered
sugar on top, drizzled honey and fresh fruits.
