Salted Caramel Lassi
Life is unfair...get used
to it. And to deal with those unfair and unjust incidents there are foods to
indulge in. Salted Caramel Lassi is one such indulgence. Sweet, salty and
caramelized. This one has it all. Buttery smooth and that caramel flavour is
to die for. And if you have something left then freeze to make Caramel Frozen
Yogurt. You will not regret it. Trust me.
Salted Caramel Lassi
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 cup of thick yogurt –
chilled
2-3 tbsp milk
¼ th cup of caramel sauce
or more
Sugar to adjust the
sweetness
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of fleur de sel
Method:
In a blender put together
the yogurt, 2 tbsp of the milk, caramel sauce and vanilla extract.
Blend everything together
until you see the mixture has become frothy.
Take a sip of the lassi.
The yogurt has a natural sourness to it which is hard to pass by. If the lassi
tastes bizarre then just a little more of the caramel sauce and sugar to adjust
the sweetness.
Blend them again until
that sour taste is gone.
Pour them in a tall glass
and drizzle some of the caramel sauce on top of it.
Sprinkle the fleur de sel
and serve chilled.
